About

About Lola Ladae

Poetic Jazz is an Atlanta-based live music and cultural experience rooted in jazz improvisation, spoken word, and the beauty of trusting the creative process. Our events center imperfectionism, spontaneity, and artistic freedom — creating spaces where musicians, poets, vocalists, and MCs can show up as themselves, take creative risks, and trust where the music and moment lead. We intentionally embrace the unexpected rather than over-rehearsing or over-producing the experience. At the heart of Poetic Jazz is our commitment to independent talent. We provide artists with paid performance opportunities, professional production, meaningful audience connection, and a platform to introduce their work to new communities. Our MCs are an important part of that experience as well, helping create intentional transitions and making artists feel genuinely seen and celebrated. We also partner with establishments, venues, and brands to transform their spaces into culturally engaging experiences that bring together music lovers, creatives. From intimate listening experiences to larger themed cultural events, Poetic Jazz creates spaces where music, poetry, community, and spontaneity meet.
